An introduction to traditional photography
One-to-one with Dominique Laugé, instructor Qualiopi.

Everything you want to know about traditional black&white photography and darkroom magic : exposing, developing and printing.

It is not necessary to be familiar with photography to gain benefit from the workshop.

The attendee should leave having completed at least five 24x30 prints either from negatives produced during the workshop or brought on purpose to be enlarged.

Proceedings :
Day one :
• approach of the camera
• managing the films
• measure of light and exposure control
• basic control of contrast
• outdoors shooting
Day two :
• film development
• quality control
• printing tests
Day three :
• printing
• toning
• notion of conservation

Basic essentials : the participant may bring negatives to print and a film camera (otherwise one will be provided).

Dates : to be defined - on demand.

Terms of access  : examination of demands on arrival. Time of access according to each workshop dates.

Price for a three day workshop  : 1100€ (exempt of tax for professionals) and 1320€ inclusive of tax (for non professionals). Registration fee 30%.
Reduced price for professional photographers under 27.
Lunch at the Centre and material are included.
One-to-one workshop (or group registration of max. three).

The workshop will be refunded in full in the event of a public health emergency declared by the government.
